I don’t get why people are making such a big deal about celebrities and fashion icons revealing what they look like without makeup one. One picture of their natural skin without any touch ups or cover ups and suddenly they’re some sort of inspiration for all women out there. How about firing all the make-up artists and letting actors and actresses be in movies without make up, or how about models going on the run-way without any of those fancy clothes or fancy hair-styles. 

If you really want to make a difference, don’t just preach once about natural beauty. Embrace it. Everyone is beautiful. The reason girls cake so much make-up on is because they want to look like all these celebrities and fashionistas. One picture isn’t going to make a difference. They’re still wearing tons of make-up after it.

I just don’t get it. It’s probably me being ignorant or arrogant or whatever, but this is just my opinion. If you don’t agree, that’s fine. But I’m just saying people shouldn’t praise these women for being brave enough to take pictures without make up on and putting it on for the world to see. Maybe people should start praising the people who have been embracing their natural beauty for their entire lives and have been living true to themselves their whole lives. How about that.
